How to Use the C Print Message Function

When you want to display a message on the screen, the C language has several functions that you can use. One of them is the printf() function. This function uses the stdio library to produce a character stream. The output will be displayed to a console. The printf() function takes a string as its argument, and stores the contents in the int * argument.

This function accepts one argument, which is a string to print to the standard output. You must remember that puts() does not support formatted variables, so you must separate each argument with commas. The printf() statement accepts only one argument, which is always the message string. The message string can contain special control characters and parameter conversion control characters. The output string should not be more than 255 characters. In addition, the message string must be in the right format.

The printf function is called from the kernel. It is only supported on architectures that support compute 2.x. Otherwise, the call will fail. Therefore, you must be sure that the target architecture supports compute 2.x. If it does, use cudaDeviceSetLimit() to set a bigger buffer.

The printf function can also return a binary value. This will be printed in a formatted message if the first argument contains an integer. The second argument is used to specify the format. This is useful for converting numbers between binary and character.
